To complete writing from home and during publishing time, it is important that your child knows how to access their work on their google account. Here is a helpful "how-to" to walk you through the steps!
STEP ONE:
Go to the "Google" website, or open "Google Chrome" on your computer.

Click the "sign in" button at the top right of the screen and have your child enter their email address and password.
**They should have this information written down in planner**

STEP THREE:
Once logged in, access "Google Classroom" by searching "Google Classroom" and click on the link that pops up. (Parents may need to click add account or log out for students to access their school email accounts, which will allow them to access Google Classroom.)

STEP FOUR:
Once you are in Google Classroom, click on my writing class, your child should scroll to the current assignment they are working on. When they click on it, they should see their work displayed. Their document has been shared with me, so I have the ability to make changes as well as comment on their work.
